Windows : choose an existing local folder to synchronize with the cloud (Expert mode)

By default, when the Leviia application performs a synchronization, it creates a Leviia directory at the root of the user directory. (C:\Users\your_usernameLeviia).
You can also do the opposite: select a local folder containing your data and synchronize it on the cloud.

To do this, right-click on the "Leviia" icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the taskbar and click on "Settings".

Click on "Settings" in the top right-hand corner of the window :

Check "Advanced Folder Sync" and "Expert Folder Sync", then click on the icon with your name at top left:

A warning message appears, simply click on "ok" :

Click on "Add folder synchronization" :

You now have the option of entering the folder path directly or clicking on "Select" to choose it :

Once you've made your selection, click on "Select folder" :

Create an empty folder with the desired name on your Leviia cloud space by clicking on "Create a folder", then select it :

Click on "Next", a window opens with an option to "Use virtual files instead of downloading content immediately" :

If the option is checked, you'll be able to free up local disk space and use synchronization statuses, otherwise all your data will be stored both locally and in the cloud.

For a better understanding of synchronization statuses, here's some documentation :

Once you've made your choice, click on "Add synchronization" :

Synchronization is launched.
