Veeam Backup & Replication V12: create your Leviia repository

Goals
Backup is an essential tool for protecting your company's data.
With Veeam, you can backup your data to a variety of media, including cloud services such as Leviia.
This guide shows you how to add an S3 object backup repository to your Veeam V12 environment, so that you can store your backup data with Leviia.

Prerequisites
Have created a bucket on the leviia dashboard
Have downloaded the Veeam Backup & Replication V12 tool


Step 1 - Add a new S3 storage repository
Select Backup Infrastructure


Select Backup Repositories


Right-click and select Add backup repository.


Select Object storage !


Select S3 Compatible !



Step 2 - Configuring the object storage repository
Name: <New repository name>
Description: Description of your repository>


Service point: the server address that you will find in your dashboard Leviia -> 'Object Storage' -> 'Identifiers' -> 'Endpoint'.
Region: Default
Credentials: credentials are to be retrieved from your dashboard Leviia -> 'Object Storage' -> 'Credentials'.


Bucket: <Select the name of the bucket previously created in your leviia in "Browse">.
Folder: <Select / create a folder for your backups>












Mount server: <Select your mount server>
Instant recovery write cache folder: <Select the folder to use for caching>



Apply changes and wait






Return to the list of depots and check for the presence of the S3 Leviia depot.
