Solving synchronization problems

Although the vast majority of synchronizations run smoothly, it is possible to encounter errors on peripheral cases.

Rest assured, most synchronization errors can be resolved with a few clicks. This documentation will help you identify errors and correct them

Recreating the connection :

The first way to resolve synchronization problems is to recreate the connection.
To do this, go to the Leviia application settings, click on "..." and then on "Remove synchronization connection from folder".

Then click on "Remove synchronization from this folder" (no files will be removed).

You can now re-create a connection by clicking on "Add a folder synchronization".

Wait for indexing to take place. You should see a green tick indicating that the connection to the server is correct.

If you have a failure at this stage, i.e. you can't connect the application to the server (and you have something other than the green tick), you need to contact support to request a re-index of your account.

Common errors :

If the connection to the server is successful (step above) but the problem persists when you send documents to your space, here are the most common reasons :

- File name too long.
- File name with special characters.
- Too many spaces or dots in the file name (in this case, we advise you to rename the file(s) using standard characters).
- If you have two files that differ only in case (upper/lower case), you need to rename one of them (e.g. ficHier and fichier).

Advanced troubleshooting :

If you still can't solve the synchronization problem, you'll need to identify the file in error.

To do this, re-create a synchronization as explained in step 1 and send files bit by bit. Continue until the error appears, and you can then identify the problematic file/folder. You will then need to correct the error on this file/folder to complete your synchronization.
