UpdraftPlus: back up your WordPress website on your Leviia object storage space (S3 compatible)

Introduction

  • UpdraftPlus is one of the most widely used tools for backing up your website.
  • In its free version, you can set up a backup directly on an object storage bucket.


Prerequisites


UpdraftPlus configuration

  • In the wordpress administration panel, go to Settings then UpdraftPlus Backups.

  • Go to the settings tab
  • Add the S3-Compatible type to the Choose your remote storage category.


  • Add your bucket information


The S3 endpoint corresponds to the server address that you will find on the dashboard in the "Endpoint" section.


  • Click on Test S3-Compatible (Generic) Settings.
  • A pop-up window should appear with Success.

  • Save changes at the very bottom of the page by clicking Save Changes.
