Use the Notes app on your instance
In this guide, we will show you how to use the Notes application and its main features.
This note-taking app allows you to easily organize your ideas, lists, tasks, and much more.
With the Notes app, you can create, edit, and synchronize your notes seamlessly — anytime, anywhere, and across all your devices.
Creating a Note
- Click on the Notes tab, then on the “+ New note” button located at the top left of the interface:
- Your new note is now created and ready to be edited and filled in using the editing space on the right side of the screen.
- Insert or upload an image into the note:
- Preview the note or switch to full-screen mode:
- To access the available options for a note, click on the three dots located next to it:
- Add to favorites: Marks the note as a favorite for quick access.
- Share: Allows you to share the note with other users or generate a sharing link.
- Uncategorized: Lets you assign the note to a specific category or folder for better organization.
- Rename: Change the note’s name as needed.
- Delete note: Permanently deletes the note from your storage space.

Basics
Explanation of the three main buttons in the Notes interface:
Notes path
Set the location in your file space where your notes will be stored.
By default, this is the “Notes” folder.
File Extension
Configure the file extension used for your notes:
Display Mode
Select the display mode that best fits your writing needs.
You can choose between two modes:
- Edit mode: Allows you to add text and images to your note, but without advanced customization options.
- Preview mode: Lets you view the note but not edit or customize it.
