Use the Activity app on your instance

Overview


The Activity app allows users to view actions related to their files, folders, shares, and data on your instance.


Each user can configure their own activity settings: choice of activity type to track, email notification settings in case of changes, or even receipt of a daily summary each morning.


The instance administrator has a global view of all changes made by users.


Access to the application as a user.


As a user, you can configure these notifications from the settings, then Notifications.


Access to the application as an admin.


As the administrator of the instance, you also have the option to configure the default notification settings for new accounts. To do this, go to Settings then Activity.


The Activity tab at the top left also provides an overview of recent activities. Here, we can see from the activity that we created a folder named Document, shared it with the Accountant account, who added content to it, a file named Presentation, and modified it.


The activity can also be viewed by clicking on the share button for a file/directory, then accessing the Activity tab in the right-hand menu.
