Mac : synchronize a specific folder with Leviia (Expert mode)
By default, when LeviiaSync performs a synchronization, it creates a Leviia folder at the root of the user directory (Users/your_username/LeviiaSync).
It is also possible to do the opposite: choose a local folder containing your data and synchronize it on the cloud.
If you haven't already done so, install the "LeviiaSync" application for Mac by following this tutorial: how to connect Leviia on my Mac.
You'll now find the application in your taskbar, click on your name and then on "Settings".
Click on "Settings" in the top right-hand corner and check the "Advanced Folder Sync" then "Expert Folder Sync" boxes.
A warning message will appear, so please read it carefully and confirm by clicking on "OK".
In the parameters, click on "Add folder synchronization".
Click on "Select" to choose the local folder you wish to synchronize.
Here we've selected the "Documents" folder as an example, replace it with the folder you want and click "Open" then "Continue".
Click on "Create folder" to create a remote folder (i.e. on your online space), here we create "Documents" as an example. Then click on OK.
Select the folder created in the previous step and click "Continue". You can also synchronize a local folder with an existing folder on your cloud. In this case, all you have to do is select the latter instead of creating a new folder.
Then click on "Add synchronization".
Your local folder and your cloud folder now synchronize automatically.
