Introduction.

This documentation presents the operation of the Advanced Folder Sync mode on the LeviiaSync application.

The default mode creates a sync at a default location: Macintosh HD / User / Your username.

The Advanced Folder Sync mode allows you to create this synchronization directory at the location of your choice.

Prerequisites.

The LeviiaSync app must be downloaded and installed on your Mac. This documentation will show you how to do: link.

Do not follow all the instructions but only the part concerning the download and installation. The synchronization must not be created yet. If a synchronization had still been created, the next steps will show you how to remove it.

To use the Advanced Folder Sync mode, a directory must be created in the location of your choice. It must remain empty.

For this example, we create a directory on the desktop.

Create a sync in Advanced Folder Sync mode if a sync already exists.

If you already have a synchronization, with the default settings, and want to create a new one with the Advanced Folder Sync mode. The existing synchronization must be removed.

For this, go to the settings of the LeviiaSync application and remove the synchronization.

Create a new synchronization with the Advanced Folder Sync mode.

Now that there is no active synchronization anymore. Go to the settings of the LeviiaSync application, then to General.

Check the Advanced Folder Sync option.

Go back to your profile in the top left corner and click on Add Folder Sync Connection.

Click Choose.

Search and select your previously created directory then click on Open.

Click Next.

The synchronization is created.
