Change your account status online

Introduction.


Your account is associated with an online status that can be changed. This documentation will show you how to do it and what consequences it implies.


Configuration of the status.


The status linked to your account appears at the top right. You can change it by clicking on your profile then on Set status.



A window opens, showing the statuses according to two categories:


  • Online status: displays the user’s presence: online, away, do not disturb, invisible.
  • Status message: allows to display a different, more contextual status.



A custom status can be created by clicking What is your status? and a custom icon can be set.


Click on Set status message to confirm your status.



Now it appears on your profile.



A click on Clear status message resets your status.



The status message has disappeared and the status has been restored to Online.



Configuration of availability.


Among the settings of your account, it is also possible to define availabilities that will impact the status of your account.


For this, go to Settings then Availability.



It is possible to set its availability and automatically set the status to Do not disturb outside these hours if you wish.


Click on Save to validate this change.



The status thus automatically changes to Do Not Disturb.



An absence can also be configured by entering the following information:


  • First and last day of the absence.
  • Replacement (optional, for information).
  • A summary as well as a complete message of absence.



Absence is present in the calendar, visible to those to whom the calendar is shared.



During the absence, the summary of the absence message also appears to users looking to write you on Talk.
