# Veeam Backup & Replication V12: changing a job's backup repository


| Goals
* Modify the backup repository of a Veeam job without recreating it entirely.

| Prerequisites

| Step 1: Create a new backup repository pointing to the new bucket.

| Step 2: Modify the backup job to be redirected
* Right-click on the job and click on "Edit".

* Click on "Next" until you reach the "Storage" section, then select the new backup repository and click on "Next":

* A window appears, click on "Move existing" then "OK" on the next one:

Then click on "Next", "Apply" and "Finish".


| The job is now redirected to the new bucket, and the next backup will transfer the entire job to the new backup repository.
