# Use 2FA authenticators

1. Two-factor authentication will no longer allow you to connect your applications with your password. Instead, you'll need to provide a one-time code to log in. This is an additional security feature for your account.

*To activate two-factor authentication, you need a TOTP application. You can choose the one that suits you best. In this tutorial, we'll be using "2FA Authenticator".*

2. On your phone, install the **"2FA Authenticator"** application.

3. Once the application is installed, you can choose to scan the QR Code requested on cloud.leviia.com or use the key by entering it manually.
