# Linux - connect the Leviia application


1. Download our Appimage app by clicking [here](https://interne.leviia.com/s/86HFtjACKpJ3Zx9).

2. Once the app is downloaded, right-click it to open the properties.

3. Check **Executable as program**.

4. Click **Next** by leaving the proposed address, unless you have a pro instance, enter the address of your instance :

5. Your browser will open, enter your login credentials and click on **Connect Me**, then click on **Log in** and **Grant access**.

6. The application then offers you to start a synchronization, click **Connect** to create synchronization with the default settings.
The location of the local synchronization folder is, by default: /home/<account_name_linux>/Leviia.
If you want to change it, just click **Choose different folder**

The synchronization has been successfully created and you can find your Leviia folder in Files.

Once the application is configured with your account, you find in your file explorer a quick access named **Leviia**, on the left pane :
