# Edit your bucket on your Leviia dashboard

| **0) GO TO THE BUCKET MODIFICATION PAGE** 

To edit your bucket, click on the 3 small dots in the right-hand column of the table

| **1) SUMMARY OF YOUR BUCKET'S INFORMATION** 

On the modification page, you'll find your bucket's information in the top right-hand corner: 
* Creation date and time.
* Space used (in Go or To).
* Number of items stored.
* The possibility of deleting the bucket ([see this article]).(https://wiki.leviia.com/fr/article/supprimer-un-bucket-dans-votre-dashboard-leviia-1t1ho4f/)).

| **2) MODIFY YOUR BUCKET DETAILS** 

* You cannot change the name of your bucket; this operation is only available at creation.

| **3) MODIFY VERSION MANAGEMENT**

* If you have enabled object locking, you cannot disable version management.

* If you have not activated object locking, you can activate and deactivate version management as you wish.
* **If this is the first time** you've activated versioning, **all new objects placed after the option has been activated will be versioned**. All other objects will remain available, but without versioning.
* If you have already activated this option, you can interrupt it: all existing object versions are preserved, but new objects placed after deactivating the option will not be versioned. You can also reactivate this option at a later date to suit your needs.

| **4) CHANGE OBJECT LOCK**

* Locking can only be **activated at bucket creation** ([see this article](https://wiki.leviia.com/en/article/create-a-bucket-on-your-leviia-dashboard-h47vp5/)): if you haven't already done so, you have no option but to create a new bucket.
* Once the lock has been activated at creation, you can no longer deactivate it.
* However, you can **add a default retention period (in months or years) and switch from manual mode to compliance mode** (and soon governance mode).

* If you had already activated the retention period at creation, you can no longer deactivate it. But you can still change the retention period.
